Lip Blushing Aftercare Instructions
First 7-10 Days:
Avoid touching your lips unnecessarily. Wash your hands before touching the area.
Keep lips moisturized with the ointment provided or a fragrance-free lip balm (e.g., Aquaphor or Vaseline). Apply it every 2-3 hours or whenever the lips feel dry.
Do not peel or pick at any scabs that form. Allow the skin to naturally slough off as it heals.
Avoid licking your lips to prevent infection and drying out the treated area.
Avoid kissing for at least 7 days to prevent infection and ensure proper healing.
Do not expose the lips to hot or spicy foods, or acidic beverages (like citrus or tomato-based drinks) during the first 7-10 days.
No smoking for at least 7-10 days, as it can interfere with healing and may cause the pigment to fade.
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks. If going outside, apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to your lips to protect them from UV damage.
Do not apply any makeup or other products on the treated area for the first 7-10 days.
Avoid any exfoliating treatments (scrubs, chemical peels) or facial treatments around your lips during healing.
After 7-10 Days:
You may resume using regular lip products like lip gloss or lipstick once the area has healed and scabs have fallen off.
Hydrate your lips regularly to keep them soft and prevent cracking.
Keep in mind that the color will appear lighter and softer in the first few weeks as the skin heals. The pigment will settle into its final color after the first touch-up session.
Powder/Combo Brows Aftercare Instructions
First 7-10 Days:
Avoid touching your brows unnecessarily to prevent infection. Wash your hands before touching the treated area.
Do not pick or scratch the scabs or flakes as they heal. Let them fall off naturally to avoid disrupting the pigment.
Keep brows clean and dry during the healing process. Gently cleanse your brows with lukewarm water and a gentle, non-alcoholic facial cleanser (e.g., Cetaphil). Pat the area dry with a clean, soft towel.
Apply the ointment provided (or a recommended healing balm like Aquaphor) sparingly over the brows 1-2 times a day to keep them moisturized and to prevent dryness.
Avoid sweating or intense physical activity, including workouts and hot yoga, for the first 7 days. Excessive sweating can interfere with healing and cause pigment to fade.
Avoid swimming, saunas, and hot tubs during the first 10 days, as prolonged moisture can disrupt the healing process.
No makeup on your brows for the first 7-10 days. This includes eyebrow pencils, powders, or gels.
Do not tweeze, wax, or thread the treated area for at least 4 weeks.
No direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks after the procedure. Always apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) to your brows if you need to be outside.
Avoid sleeping on your face during the first 7 days to prevent rubbing or pressing on the treated area.
After 7-10 Days:
Once the scabs have fallen off, you may notice that your brows appear lighter or patchy. This is completely normal, and the color will deepen and settle over the next few weeks.
Do not apply any exfoliants or facial peels around your brows during the healing process.
After your first touch-up session, you can resume your normal brow maintenance routine (tweezing, waxing, or tinting), but avoid doing so before then.
Hydrate the area regularly with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to keep your skin soft and nourished.
General Aftercare for Both Lip Blushing & Brows:
Sleep Position: Try to sleep on your back for the first 7-10 days to avoid friction or pressure on the treated areas.
Avoid excessive moisture: Try not to get the treated area excessively wet, such as during long showers or baths.
No facial treatments: Avoid facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and other exfoliating treatments around the treated area for at least 4 weeks.
Healing time: Expect the healing process to take around 2-4 weeks. You may experience some swelling, redness, or tenderness immediately following the procedure, but this should subside within a few hours to a day.
Touch-Up Appointment: A touch-up is typically scheduled 6-8 weeks after your initial procedure to perfect the shape and color. This is important for ensuring long-lasting results and addressing any areas that may have healed lighter than expected.
Important Notes:
The healing process is different for everyone, and while these instructions should be followed carefully, some variation in healing time and the appearance of the pigment is normal.
